What is Gam3rCon all about?
Gam3rCon is the only local event focusing on the world of video games and interactive entertainment from the earliest traditions of dice and cards to the latest innovations in digital gaming experiences.

Is Gam3rCon associated with Comic-Con?
Negative. We offer a cool alternative for the gaming community that will be roaming the streets of downtown SD that week. Besides, Comic-Con is already sold out, and there will be a lot of things going on in the Gaslamp. Gam3rCon is just one more thing to do for the 120,000 people that will be out and about in San Diego that week.

Does my Comic-Con badge get me in to Gam3rCon?
Gam3rCon is separate from Comic Con. Get admission ticket details HERE.

Is there a separate charge for events within Gam3rCon?
Yep. Plays in the theatre, some of the gaming tournaments, and the rooftop parties all have separate admissions. The panels, gaming lounges, gaming demos and other events are free.

Does my ticket to a play or rooftop party get me into Gam3rCon, too?
You bet it does. Your ticket to any of the special events also includes admission to Gam3rCon. So come early and stay late, hang out all day and night with us.

Can I reserve a seat for a panel or gaming event?
No. But ticketing will begin at noon each day for that days' panels. After all tickets for a panel are distributed, a stand-by line will be formed and anyone not in a seat at 10 minutes before panel start time may have their seat given to someone on stand-by.

How old do I have to be to get into Gam3rCon?
Unsupervised children under age 12 will not be admitted. Some of the parties are 21+, and GAM3RS: the Play does have a few F-bombs in it, so parents may want to use their own discretion with younger kids. There is no babysitting available on site, sorry.

Is there public transportation to Gam3rCon?
The 10th Avenue Theatre is located around the corner from a trolley stop and a few buses also stop near by. Info on public transportation HERE.

Where can we park?
Bring your change! There is metered parking in the neighborhood, enforced until 6pm Mon-Sat. There are several pay lots in the area as well.
