What was it like being a "nerd" before it was cool? Follow performer Ashphord Jacoway into a world of magic and wonder as we conquer cultural and social stereotypes, in and outside our geek community, and level up our confidence through poetry, spoken word, and movement.

Friday, July 13th, 7.30pm

Admission to the show comes with any pass to Gam3rCon!!! Limited seating is on a first come, first serve basis.

Ashphord Jacoway is a Los Angeles Based Cosplay Artist: "An Individual who shapes dreams into realities with the use of fabric, craftsmanship, and performance."  An all around Nerd Goddess;  Her credits include geek centered shows such as The Guild and Playstation's The Tester3, voice acting with the likes of Wendee Lee, and  commissioning her own hand made costumes for webseries and film . She is a Founding Sister of Chocolate Covered Cosplay, a group of Black women dedicated to promoting the freedom to cosplay, no matter ones race/gender.   She is also an actress within the indie film circuit and writes her own solo performance work.  Ashphord achieved her  BFA in Theatre Performance from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010 and looks forward to being in a superhero movie one day.
